CleverTex - independent evaluation and testing

Hygienic requirements regarding clothing for children under 3 years of age
Decree No. 84/2001 Coll. as amended by the Decree No. 521/2005 on Hygiene Requirements for Toys and Products for Children up to 3 Years of AgeBased on this Decree the clothing for children under 3 years of age must indicate correct pH of water leach (EN ISO3071) and must not contain formaldehyde (EN ISO14184-1). This Decree determines the content of primary aromatic amines and specifies the criteria of smell tests as well.

testing procedure
For antibacterial testing the laboratory requires 6 CleverTex® samples and 6 "reference" samples of standard textile fabric without antibacterial effect. All these samples have to pass 3 washing cycles. In our case the fabric samples were washed under 40°C, 60° and 90°C. Consequently selected microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae) were applied in the fabric samples under the temperature of human body, i.e. 37°C. After that comparison of bacteria growth and propagation was observed. As evident from the testing results CleverTex® samples antibacterial effect of 3,36 was obtained while "reference" standard textile samples indicated 0,01.
