Clothing and atopic eczema

For most of the day and night we wear various types of textiles. Atopic eczema, i.e. chronic skin inflammation, troubles children already from babyhood. However, their skin is much more susceptible to irritation by clothing than in case of healthy people. Some of the textile fabrics can even cause further allergic reactions due to aggressive chemical treatment applied on the fabric.
